Sangeeta Jain, MD
Dr. Sangeeta Jain was born and brought up in Troy, Michigan. She knew early on she wanted to pursue medicine and was accepted into the Pre-Med/Med program at East Tennessee State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended the Ohio State University Medical School where she received her MD in 2007. She completed an internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and then stayed as a faculty member teaching residents as an academic hospitalist. Dr. Jain has a personal history of exercise induced bronchospasm and eczema which led her to complete an allergy-immunology fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans. She is board certified in both pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Jain is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI). She has published book chapters and medical papers and has also presented her work at local and national conferences. She has also been the recipient of a research award for her work in eosinophilia. Due to her own personal and family history, Dr. Jain has a special interest in adult and pediatric allergic and non allergic nasal disorders, eczema, hives, exercise induced bronchospasm, asthma, sinusitis, food allergies and insect allergies.
Dr. Jain enjoys watching football with friends and family, as well as participating in group fitness activities, yoga, and trying new restaurants.
